SummerQuest 2008 SummerQuest has a new look this year as we join in the Turtle Beach Blast June 2-6. We have split the day into two sessions to allow kids an even better way to personalize their SummerQuest experience. SummerQuest is available for all children who will have completed 1st-6th grade at the end of the 2007-2008 school year. Session 1- SummerQuest Morning The Morning Session of SummerQuest is Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm. This session includes Bible Study, fun recreation activities, cool arts & crafts, and a great time of Worship. Those attending only the morning session can do so FREE OF CHARGE so invite your friends and neighbors. Even though the morning session is free it is important that you register early so know how many students to plan for. See the link below for the online registration form.
Session 2- Afternoon Lagoon Children who want to participate in the awesome track classes can do so at Afternoon Laggon, the 2nd session of SummerQuest that will meet Monday-Thursday until 5:00 pm. Children must attned the morning Session of SummerQuest in order to participate in Afternoon Lagoon. The cost for Afternoon Lagoon is 50$ or $65 if you register after May 11. Children staying for Afternoon Lagoon will need to bring a sack lunch with a clear colored drink each day.
When you register for Afternoon Lagoon you will choose classes in each of 3 categories: Arts & Crafts, Sports and Worship Arts. Kids will participate each day in those 3 classes. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so you will be asked to select a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd choice for each category. Classes choices are arranged by age and kids will be in classes with others their own age. You will find out what classes you are assigned to in a letter that will be sent to you a week or two before SummerQuest. We will remind you of any materials or fees that you will need to bring at that time.
Oasis Extended Care For children who are staying all day and whose parents both work outside the home, early drop off and afternoon care on Friday are offered through Oasis. Oasis will begin at 7:30 am daily and end at 5:30 pm on Friday. The cost for the week is $20. You can register for Oasis at the same time as you register for SummeQuest + Afternoon Lagoon.
Registration Registration will begin on Sunday, April 6. You can either register online by clicking one of the links below or download a registration form and turn it in to the KidQuest Desk or Church Office. If registering online, be sure that you select the correct registration form. Online registration will end at 11:00 pm on May 28. After that time you will need to register in the Church Office or you can register on the first morning of SummerQuest. You will also need to fill out and turn in a Notarized Medical Release Form if you have not already done one for 2008. Notaries are available at the KidQuest Desk and Church Office.
Online registration has ended but you can still register in the Church Office. You can also come early on Monday at 8:00 am to register at the Atrium located at the entrance where the flags are.
