Baptist Catechism for Boys and Girls A catechism is a system of learning spiritual and biblical truths through a series of questions, answers, and scripture references. As part of our curriculum plan, we are asking our children to learn two questions and answers per month. Over all, they will learn 145 questions and answers. For more information on what a catechism is, see John Piper's explanation here. You can download the entire catechism here. We have it divided into the sets of questions that will be learned at each grade level.
First Grade- Follow the Bible The first grade curriculum is designed to teach fundamental Bible skills, as well as fifty basic Bible stories. Each lesson is designed for beginning readers and is filled with exciting activities to help the children learn.

Third Grade- Grow through the Bible The third graders will learn what makes the Bible different from any other book. Although the Bible was written by approximately forty men over a period of fifteen hundred years, they will discover that one main theme is prevalent throughout the Bible. It tells all people everywhere how to live in such a way as to have fellowship with God here on earth and to be able to live with Him forever in Heaven.
